Cylinders

Fiberglass cylinder is laminated material. It is made by winding of continuous glass roving or glass fiber, pre-impregnated with epoxy binder, followed by its curing. Cylinders are widely used in electrical engineering, for example, as cylinders for windings of dry-type transformers and current-limiting reactors, tubes for hollow composite insulators.
