Rods

Fiberglass rod is laminated material.  It is made by continuous pultrusion of glass roving impregnated with an epoxy binder while its curing. Fiberglass rod is widely used in electrical engineering, for example, as strips for dry-type transformers and current-limiting reactors, rods for non-ceramic insulators.
