Production of the Laminated wood plastics
WPB (Wood Particle Board) is a durable multilayered material made of birch veneer sheets
glued together by means of synthetic resole-type resins in the course of heat and pressure
processing (In accordance with GOST 20966-75 and GOST 13913-78).
WPB manufacturing consists of following stages:
- raw material heating;
- birch veneer peeling, drying and sorting;
- stacks build-up and pressing;
- plywood clipping and sorting.
AVAILABLE DIMENSIONS:
- 1500 *1500 mm;
- 1200 * 2100 mm;
- 1100 * 2500 mm.
WOOD PARTICLE BOARD FEATURES:
- resistance to corrosive environments incl. abrasive materials;
- antifriction properties;
- stability at low temperatures (-270 °С);
- physical integrity;
- water resistance;
- dielectric properties.

WPB-A.

LETTERS A, B, V, G INDICATE TYPE OF VENEER WOOD ARRANGEMENT IN PLASTIC:
WPB-A: veneer wood grains are parallel.
WPB-B: parallel and perpendicular wood grains interchange every 8-12 layers.
WPB-V: wood grains are inter-perpendicular in each adjacent veneer layer.
WPB-G: wood grains are shifted by 45 degrees in each adjacent veneer layer.
LETTERS E, M, T AND G DEFINE MATERIAL END USE:
E: manufacturing of structural and electro insulating parts for high-voltage
equipment, electrical machinery, transformers, mercury-arc rectiers, etc.
M: as a self-lubricated antifriction material or material for saw-frame crawlers or
similar parts.
T: manufacturing of parts for textile industry equipment.
O: as a structural and antifriction material.
